Confessions of a book lover........

I love books, you can't beat the feeling of a real book, whilst curled up on the sofa in your own little world.
Unfortunately since I stopped commuting to London for work I'm not reading as much as I was, but I am still finding to time to escape.

I have tried some HDR toning in Photoshop which I have not experimented with before so I hope you like what you see.

There has always been a little part of my that has considered getting an E-Reader, but it doesn't feel the same, you can't actually turn the pages and it doesn't have the right smell.  You also can't create page hearts with it......

Cute cake stand

So I came across this cake stand made from "proper" records in a vintage shop and couldn't resist.  Ok I know my baking is not fantastic, especially to look at (hence the shop bought cupcakes in the photos) but I guess this gives me a reason to practise my baking.

Hello and welcome........

.......to my new blog!

Ok for those who know me, you know I have tried this before.  I think my last blog was too specialized even for me, despite hoping it would concentrate my photography projects.  I think it was just a little too ambitious to have a budget photography project blog when I simply do not have the time to build all the kit I need.  Also there are already some fantastic blogs and sites out there dedicated to that anyway.

Instead I am going to concentrate on developing my style and brand of photography and maybe also share some inspiration too.
